Camellia Gown

A sumptuous combination of velvet, ribbon bustles and tulle! The Camellia Gown features yards of gathered tulle skirting with over a dozen drawstring ribbon bustles from waist to hem. Just slide the tulle up the ribbon casing, and tie at your desired length! Unbustled, the skirting is several inches past floor length which allows for a glamorous rear train if desired (or for a floor-length look with your tallest platform boots/heels!). For a more risque burlesque look, bustle all - or just the front all the way to the waistline - there are so many possibilities, only limited by imagination (and perhaps your shoe collection!). Please note that there is no underskirt; this allows for maximum design flexibility (pair up with your short or long slip/skirt if desired, depending upon how long or short you configure your bustles). The bodice features an elegant princess-seam design with delicate cording accenting the seams with ribbon lacing. Long, fitted sleeves are adorned with accent cuffs, which feature an adjustable ribbon gather at the wrist. Please note that this gown does not have an underskirt to allow for maximum flexibility with various looks (wearing bustles high or low). An option to add an attached underskirt is included below. Unless otherwise requested, black trim will be used with all velvet colors except white/ivory, where white or ivory trim will be used.
