Launched in 1999, Intervention Arts first formed as a recording studio, which quickly evolved in to a record label, and became a leading alternative music distributor in South Africa. More than 20 successful releases later, the label now has offices in Chicago, IL USA and Johannesburg, South Africa in addition to distribution sources around the world. With a staff of 8, we provide artist management, product development, distribution and promotion with various qualified partners, bringing the best in "intelligent alternative" to the global market. Intervention Arts also owns the famous Red Room nightclub in Johannesburg, where IA's blend of "intelligent alternative" is heard every Saturday night - since 2004 and going strong.
